Improvement of Thembalethu Interchange on the N2 Section 7, near George

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Mowana Engineers was appointed by EMPA Structures to design the temporary bridge works. The new bridge over the N2 had to be built at a higher level than required to ensure sufficient vertical clearance below the deck during construction. The bridge was then lowered to its final vertical alignment. The existing bridge deck then had to be raised to improve its vertical clearance.
